# Tournament Success!
This years classic was a great success. 130 two person teams fished in the competition. Cool weather and high winds make the competition very tough. Many recognized past winning teams could not locate active walleye. Lots of new faces earned checks this year. We paid down fifteen positions. Many dads fished with their kids. Also lots of family teams fished together. The Mar Don Café prepared and served a great free dinner Friday night for all competitors, families, friends and our many volunteers. Many of the items served for dinner were donated. Moses Lake Coca Cola donated twenty five cases of Coca Cola beverages, several very nice raffle prizes and $500.00 to the CWFAC to go toward the Potholes Reservoir Underwater Habitat Project. Our raffle generated over $4,000.00 for the Habitat Project with donated items. In total winning fishers collected $36,686.00 in cash and prizes.
